It’s incredibly easy to stop caring what other people think. I don’t mean walking around naked without expecting judgment, I mean being able to go to the grocery store with you hair in a bun with no makeup on. I mean pursuing what you want and doing what makes you happy despite fearing what your friends/family/even strangers may think.
It sounds difficult but I promise you it’s quite easy.
You just need to let go. You need to accept the fact that in order for you to feel happy and satisfied, you’re going to have to stop caring what people think about you. If you want to start a YouTube channel, start one. If you want to ask the nerdy guy in your stats class out, ask him. If you want stop wearing a bra, THEN STOP!
People care less than you think they do. And if they do care that much… that person has too much time on their hands.
You’ll be surprised how much people will start to respect you when you stop fearing judgment. You’ll be surprised how much more time you’ll have on your hands when you stop caring about your likes on Instagram, editing profile pictures, or getting up at 6am to do your hair. You’ll discover who your friends are and start to surround yourself with people who genuinely care about you and inspire you.
Who wouldn’t want that?
Stop fearing judgement. What are you really afraid of?
